retreats

Freshfield, on the Lancashire Coast
This is a delightful place on the Mersey estuary. The retreats take place in St Joseph's, a small Convent of two floors, owned by the Poor Servants of the Mother of God.
Built at the end of a long drive, it is surrounded by many trees, and lies within walking distance of the sea.

The building can house 20 students, each in their own room. The meals are all home cooked, and there are two prayerful Chapels.

During your retreat in Freshield, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the nature either walking by the sea or in the woods.

If you'd like to know more about the Freshfield Retreat, please speak to Sr. Cecilia.

St. Beuno's is situated in the Vale of Clyd
in an Area of Ourstanding Natural Beauty
near the North Wales coast.
With commanding views across the valley to the sea
and the mountains of Snowdonia and good walks
from the door, this is a wonderful place for a retreat.

St Beuno's retreats offer you the time and opportunity to pay attentioton God and to be more aware of God's work in your life. Retreats also provide the space to pray and to reflect on your life,
to consider the decisions you have to make, and the priorities you want to set.

In the place you will find many interesting rooms. The main Chapel is carefully designed and provides a good focus for prayer.
There are many smaller Chapels also, for quiet prayer times.

You will enjoy good meals in the spacious Dining Room, and each person has a comfortable room of their own during their Retreat.

St Beuno's has many different retreats to offer from Individually Guided Retreat Weekends to Themed Retreats.
If you need more information on the retreats, please come to the Chaplaincy or check
the website: www.pathwaystogod.org/org/st-beunos

Next St Beuno's Young Adults Retreats are planned for: 24th-26th April and 12th- 14th June 2020.
