National Lockdown - but Masses continue as normal
The government has clarified that under the new national lockdown announced by the Prime Minister on 4th January, places of worship may remain open for communal acts of worship, whilst observing the precautions for preventing the spread of the virus. So we will continue with our current timetable of opening times and Mass times:

The government has clarified that under the new national lockdown announced by the Prime Minister on 4th January, places of worship may remain open for communal acts of worship, whilst observing the precautions for preventing the spread of the virus. So we will continue with our current timetable of opening times and Mass times:
Sunday: Church open 10am-12 noon; Mass at 11am (no 7pm Mass during holidays)
Monday-Friday: Church open 11am - 1pm; Mass at 12.30pm.
Saturday: Closed
Monday-Friday: Church open 11am - 1pm; Mass at 12.30pm.
Saturday: Closed

CONFESSIONS
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
(Confession) is available by appointment only, since we cannot currently use the confessionals. Phone 07718 287464 between 9.30am and 5pm to make an appointment.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Mondays to Fridays: 12 Noon to 12.25 (in Church)

OTHER SACRAMENTS
The Holy Name Church is not a parish, but by the kind permission of the Diocese of Salford, we are authorised to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Matrimony for students of the universities and other institutions of higher education that come under the pastoral care of the chaplaincy.
